Ekel was heralded as Belarus' greatest downhill talent when he came to Skrubb Vandrere at a young age, but fans has been frustrated with his output. He has the skills, but he never seems to deliver when the going gets tough. But yesterday, at the age of 29, he finally bagged Skrubb Vandrere's first trophy, when he won Classic Oslo .
"We are delighted", Skrubbs chairman Loups exclaimed. "Today he finally shows that he's not a talent that doesn't perform, but that he really is a class cyclist, able to outshine anyone when he sets his mind to it."
No doubt the club is expecting more great races from the rider in the waining years of his career.

Although in some races he did underperform, he has got 16 wins in total, so this is really nice. COngrats on winning Classic Oslo and I hope you can handle in the div 4 for some time and let Ekel win some more races, as this is a div which suits DHers perfectly!
